Hi guys, awesome forum here!! Real people it seems, not snooty forum brats/know it alls like in others! I'm new to hunting in Florida (Hillsborough) and was interested in Migratory bird hunting.
With that being said.... comes my probably simpleton question....
What does General Gun season mean? For Example, the Chassahowitzka Brochure says that General Gun Season is November 1-December 28. They do not have MIgratory Bird Seasons on there, just to see the Mig. Bird Pamphlet (Which hasn't come out yet). And, to shake up my confusion, it says Quota Permit (if hunting first 9 days)? Does this mean on November 10th I won't need a permit? I can just walk in and shoot some birds? And as many as I want?
Where in Upper Hillsborough Brochure, it states the Mig. Bird Season in Small Game Season with dates.
Thanks in advance for any help on this folks, they make this stuf crazy complicated for us new guys! I need to make a spreadsheet just to figure out what day I can chase a duck!
