I know here in Indiana it was really bad for me- didn't hear a gobble till that last week of the season. I didn't see birds till then and believe me it was work. We have such a short season here too - 19 days. So if we have a cold winter and a cold wet spring it really cuts into the hunt time. I run a contest on a state specific site and the numbers are way down for the hunters here. It was funny though, I talked with guys 60 miles south on me and they had birds gobble all spring. Weird but wonderful too! I love this crazy infuriating sport!!!
