once a gobbler hears your calls and gobbles back, if he doesn't come he's with a hen, sometime around mid-morning the hen will slip away to lay her egg that day, then he will come, once you know is is coming cut the call to a minimum, as long as you call he will gobble, as long as he gobbles he won't move much, the more he gobbles the slower he'll move giving another hunter or another hen the chance to intercept him, if he sees a real hen, he's not coming to a call.
