If your using the old pull type disk from the 40's thru the 60's you can adjust the cut setting in some way.

this one is a old Dearborn disc and is adjusted by how high the 3 point is lifted.



. I have an old IH set that you have to install a pin and a Massey Harris set that has notches on a lever to adjust the cut. I have a more modern Case set that uses a hrydrlic cylinder and the remote on the tractor.
