For stand hunting, I use a 30.06 rifle for deer. But for tracking, still hunting deep wood's, I use my 30.30.Marlin 336.She handles quick, accurate out to 200+ yds.Rifle just mounts like an extension of yourself. You will fall in love hunting with her. Good luck.
