i shot my first deer on saturday afternoon. I snuck up on three doe in a field across from my house. From where i was i could only see the two smaller ones. I got close enough and shot at the first one to give me a broadside shot. She ran to the woods with her head down starting to stumble (probably because there was nothing left of her left shoulder ). When my dad and I found her about 10 yards off the field, she turned out to be a he. just a button buck. wish it was a doe, but oh well. We only got three pics of it while it was hanging in the tree the next day. I have been hunting for the last 4 years, rifle hunting for the last two, and im glad to finaly get one under my belt. Sorry i dont have a pic.

BTW, had one of the tender loins (back straps) for breakfast on sunday, REALLY GOOD.
