Nearly 2 months have passed since i received the breech plug & adapters from Precision Rifle. To me the most notable thing thus far, is how magnum rifle primers seem to be far less abrasive than shotgun primers. One of the OEM Omega breech plug that was modified to accept the adapters, now has 180 shots through. The flash hole is today, the same size it was when newly modified.. 0.032". Past experience tells me had i been using shotgun primers, the flash hole would have grown by 0.005" or so, in 180 shots. Using shotgun primers seems to kinda be like running a sand blaster through the breech plug. This is quite surprising to me; i never woulda thought.
