i went out this morning in baltimore county and it was so calm and cold, but around 8 o' clock the wind picked up and it got nasty and rainy. i decided to sit thru it because its rut time and bucks are known to do anything. about 9 o' clock i had a decent 4 or 6 pt pass by me at about 60 yds. that is the second buck i have seen at this particular stand in 3 days so i cant wait to get out there again!! the wind was blowing about 40 mph at my back on saturday when a monster 8 pt. suprised me by coming from my blind side where the sun hindered my view and he got past me before i could make a shot, but he was no jumped, he was just heading to the thicket calmly despite the harsh wind
