On a windy day you should still hunt. Try areas where you think deer will bed down, like hemlock thickets or blow downs. The deer are less likely to hear you or smell you on a windy day so you have that to your advantage. Keep alert and you may see a buck. They will probably hold tight and hope you walk by without seeing them. Stay out of the tree stand on a windy day or you might get sea sick.
