Very nice Semi. I often wonder about those mysterious flyers also. I just wonder if this could be caused by a void in the ball throwing it off balance? It wouldn't take much. Just a minute piece of slag or air trapped in the mould. Who knows. I do know it makes you scratch your head at times.
As for the patches, I noticed that my Lyman had very sharp rifling too.
