Default RE: How many use a loop? Advantages..Disadvantages?

I don' t use a string loop. I just use a Tru-fire roller-bearing release which easily clips right on the string. For those who' ve heard about my gear and setup... I always shot with that little 3 finger " crackshot" release with the thumb trigger. It was great and I liked it. But I have noticed occasionally some string torque issues, where if I don' t hold my hand exactly right under my chin and ear, I' ll torque the bow string a hair and shoot 3" to the left. [:' (] What I have done since (after reading reviews and talking to the bow shop) is ditch the " crackshot" release, but upgrade still using Tru-fire products. I now shoot with a Tru-fire Magnum roller bearing wrist strap release with a swivel head and a gun-style trigger. Wow, is it nice!!! I don' t have any need to get a string loop. This new release lets me shoot 1" -2" groups at 30 yards! [:-]

My bow string nock arrangement goes (top to bottom): Nock, #2315 arrow, rubber cushion button, Tru-fire Magnum bearing release. Being lefty, my donut peep comes right up to the left lens of my glasses at full draw. My left wrist is under my left ear and tucked under my jaw. If I got a string loop, my draw length would get changed back a bit further, which I don' t know how I differently I would shoot with one.
