Harsens Island
I just asked about my old herters decoys and I thought I would ask about Harsens Island. Does anyone still from Mi duck hunt there and how do they do? I grew up hunting it and still remember if well. It was a true journey for a youngster. We would get up at 4 am and drive 45 minutes to the Ferry and take that across the channel. Then hunt all day and retrace our tracks back home. It was really and adventure. I always wanted to shoot a male canvasback and male redhead. They were both banded for a while in MI but the state let you take 1 of each one as time went on. But would love to hear about your hunts. I might add there was no draw for spots and blinds when I went. So inform me if that is you can. Thanks to anyones input
