Default RE: windy days; should I stay home?

Well, you' re right that the deer are harder to hunt on a windy day because they tend to lay down and not move.

But, I hunted all day Saturday, too, and saw nothing (I did freeze, though). Then when I stopped at Hussey' s General Store for gas, I saw a guy tagging a 13 pointer that had to go 230 pounds (the first deer the guy ever shot, he said).

Bottom line: you may have less chance on a windy day in your stand, but you have no chance from your living room.
