I like any fairly straight tree that gives me good cover. If I can find the cover I will hunt about 15 feet up. If there is no cover available in the area I want to hunt such as mature hardwoods, then I will go up three higher to about 20 feet. Wind is always a factor. Make sure you know what the prevailing winds are in your area.
