We have a gun shop here, many of the things in the shop are twice as high as say Cabela's. I was in a Cabela's in ft Worth the first of the month. They had tons of .223and 7.62 ammo, seem everybody has gotten stocked up so they are able to keep some on the shelves. Now .22 ammo a differant story, they also had a limited supply of powder. Sales have not slowed down on that. I don't know if the smaller gun shops telling people it is hard to come by, for #1 to justify their out ragous prices, then causeing people to buy as much as they can at the places who have not raised their prices that much. The Guy at Cabelas said the problem was not getting it was keeping it. That is capitalism get as much as you can when you can, and lie if and when you have to. Not knocking capitalism here just saying.
