This post is also in the deer hunting general forum, but I had to put it in here for all my good ole' boys in SC!!!!

I' ve been deer hunting now for about 4 years, my aunt and uncle got me into it and taught me ALOT. I really became serious over the last 2 years, and I think now it has paid off. I don' t think anyone in the woods wanted a deer more than I did this Saturday! I worked this buck for about 15 minutes on the backside of a cutover and finally got him to come out of the brush with numerous grunt and bleat combinations at around 5:20 in the afternoon. I' ve set the bar extremely high for myself with this being my first kill, but I will stay as determined as ever...

He was 11 point, 165 lbs! Pretty good for a first kill...anybody want to buy a used 7mm, a tree stand, and alot of hunting clothes..... : )
