Any quality cross bow is going to set you back several hundred dollars, especially by the time you add up the cost of bolts, broadheads and a sight system. I would suggest looking for a good used one as a budget buy. And stay away from the "no-names". These are likely poor qualioty and there will be little, if any, support should a problem arise. I have a Parker Tornado and it has done a super job. It is about 4 years old.
