I've got 7 700's counting the two ML's and a model 7 for the cedar swamps I hunt in some. Triggers have been adjusted to 2.5 pounds since new. I don't think they (triggers) are dirty either as they were breaking clean and crisp when I was shooting before the season started. I think it is the cold 20F below normal temps and near and below zero wind chills and weak springs. Need to make sure I don't store them cocked in the future too I think.
Could have just been a bad cap to I guess but will use the Plains rifle till I fill the tag or the season ends.
