I envy you man. I used to hunt it all, until....

The one thing I have found out about bow hunting, and I' m just a rook, is that once I got serious into it, other hunting went by the wayside (on my own land). I never wanted to squirrel hunt, or take my dog up there for birds. I just wanted to keep the woods quiet and scent free. Since there are so damn many yotes around, I suppose one more dog would not make a dif, but you get paranoid.

Sigh, at least the kids are begging to go hunting, but thats a few years off.

Cheap new bow, hmmm. you get what you pay for. If you get a cheap one, and enjoy the experience, you' ll want a new one sooner than you think. If your serious, get the best you can afford, don' t skimp on bow or accessories. I could' t begin to offer advice on anything compared to the experts that frequent this site.

I do however think that scentlok is great. I have scentlok, and I also use scentkiller spray for everyting else that is not covered by my scentlok. Hell, I even brush my teeth with it

I use rockethead wolverines, when the pics get developed, I' ll show you a deer heart that is.......well, cut up a bit.
