Closing Weekend
Took a doe this past weekend. It was the end of rifle season here when I hunt. 10 minutes after I sat in my stand I began to see deer. Took one out after about a half hour. I didnt see any bucks but some guys I hunt with saw some young ones. 4 pointers and 6 pointers. Checked the trail camera and happy to see the monster 8 made it through and is still on the property. Haven't seen any of the other big guys. Hopefully they are just on lock down and werent taken by neighbors. Going on another hunt in January in Alabama and hoping to take a buck and some hogs while there. Now the offseason fun begins. Saw some great success with the sanctuary and the food plots this season hoping to improve that all.
