My brother-in-law began hunting 4 years ago and when he learned that I joined the NRA, his first reaction was that the NRA was too extreme. After a 3 minute conversation with him, I talked to him about the reasons why the NRA is the reason that either of us can exercise our right to own guns (and hunt deer) and therefore convinced him why he too, should be a member. I think he' ll be joining soon too... For anyone who truly understands the big picture, it' s a no brainer.
Just remember what Barry Goldwater used to say, " Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice!"

If it weren' t for the " extreme" positions that NRA takes once in a while, neither you nor I would still enjoy the right to use a gun, for anything except what the government ordered!! Yes, the NRA does a lot of good and improtant things besides helping us keep our liberties, but that is the MOST IMPORTANT thing that they do!!
