I know how you feel too. A couple years ago, I passed a 17 yard shot on a HUGE 9 point in the woods in front of my house because he was quartering towards me. He was killed by a gun hunter and discovered WEEKS later by a farmer friend of mine. By the time I got to see the remains, someone (not the farmer) had sawed off the rack. See, it couda been worse.
