I had a 4 pointer just 15 yards in front of me, standing broadside and calmly looking directly at me. I COULD have taken that shot, but didn't. The bullet (I'm a rifle hunter) would have gone right thru him at that range and behind him there was plenty to ricochet off of, and perhaps come back and hit me. I didn't take the shot. Responsible hunting is always the better choice. Even when nobody's looking!
