If you wanted to decribe it well and have people being able to visualize it, you should call it a "busted up 8-pointer". You can specify that it's an 8-pointer with the ends of the main beams broken off.
***That would probably be the best way to describe this 8 pointer since it appears that many on the forum are hung up on the 1" requirement for a tine to be counted as a tine even though the beam is not under that rule!
