the elite turkey vest i have has a game bag in the back i carried one out about a mile last spring and it wasn't bad at all it was a pretty good sized bird and it hung out both sides you have to take the vest off to get it in there but it worked very well. The weight was on my back and my hands were free it also has an orange "flag" that you can pull out so some nut doesn't see the bird and blast you
