I think the reason people tend to say they DONT move, is really b/c they don' t feel like hunting when it' s hot
coolbrze0 I have been out hunting in the heat in the Fredericksburg area and the only movement I have see has been after it is to dark to shoot when I am leaving my stand. I am not saying that there aren' t some folks who won' t hunt in the heat, but I am saying that I have not seen a single deer from my favorite stand since the heat set in, I have never hunted this stand twice in a row and not seen deer until this heat spell. I am sure if I had some bottoms or swamp to hunt they would be moving earlier, but I don' t have any spots like that this year.
