In short yes a high set will work fine, but like mentioned above you will have a play with it a bit to make sure it's sensing where you want it so aim it a bit more tricky. Trail sets I have best luck setting the cam at a 45 degree angle to the trail (looking up or down it) as it gives the animal more time in the sensing zone of the cam. Head on movement is hard for a camera to sense due to the way a PIR works (it looks for heat differential across zones). Many of the newer cameras don't do the sleep thing as much anymore, not sure on that model of Moultrie though.
