Thumbs up AirArms pcp S410 22 pellet SOLD!

SOLD!
This pellet gun is probably the best selling of higher end air guns. It retails new for $1139 today.http://www.straightshooters.com/air-...22-walnut.html About 3,300 rounds have been fired thru it, fairly accurate count as I've kept all empty pellet tins. The stock is fine Walnut. It comes with 2 10 round rotary mags and 3X9 Burris scope. I generally air it up with a special high pressure pump though a scuba or composite tank can be used. In one year I documented killing 350 ground squirrel. At 50 yards there's a 50/50 chance on a broadside chest shot, a 16.5gr JSB pellet will pass thru (it only slightly expands). On a calm day, one likely will place a humane killing shot out to 60yds. With only a forward rest my 10 shot groups are 1" @30yd; 2"@50yd; and 2.5"@60yd. Shot these targets at 30yds:

lower; shooting new JSB-heavy pellets and fiddling wih scope, (PS, rifle didn't shoot the new JSBs accurately)
upper; planned to mix up the old and new pellets, after 7 new pellets, loosely grouped low & left of bull dot, I decided to not use them and fired 43 rounds older JSB-exact pellets. 2nd group 8-20 up & right, 3rd group 21-30 I aimed at the mid target bull ring to isolate/better see those shots, 4th group 31-40 hit similiar to 2nd group just a tad lower, 5th group 41-50 I reset the scope shots remained somewhat high, had 2 flyers and wider grouping concluding that accuracy fades after 40 rounds on one tank of air.
mid; I oiled 1st pellet and it hit low, next 10 lowesh, 11-20 spot on, 21-30 tad high, 31-40 spot on.
At 1 time could see a bit of orange upper right of bullseye and left bullseye. I placed the crosshairs a tad upper right and took out that bit of orange. Aimed a smidge left and whipped away that bit of orange. These are average shots, may could get tighter groups if I were serious. Rifle is quiet! Once you get the feel of it, you can bolt a follow up round fairly rapidly.

Scuffs, some repairman in Scottsdale AZ clamped it hard and there's a modest 1/2" set of marks on the barrel, along with a barely noticeable bend on the trigger guard. Turns out, it only needed a $0.19 "O" ring, commonly found at hardward stores, replaced.
Cleaned barrel with goo gone, every 300 rounds, with nylon brush, use ordinary gun oil elsewhere. Kept it pumped up.
1.5lb 2 stage trigger, use pad of finger, not joint, it's light!
Burris 3 X 9 mil-dot scope.

Am retiring to a country cabin and need more umphh for longer distant varmiting. Keeping my little pcp air rifle for tree squirrel gun and buying a 22 mag with the $$ from this sale. $500 with scope or trade for 22 bolt action. PM me and let's talk.
