two years ago I used a drag rag covered with tinks 69 during mid november for a morning hunt. After grunting in a 10 pt P&Y buck, he got the the scent trail and offered a perfect shot. Last week I hung some knight and hale Estrus scent in a scent bomb over a mock scrape. I had two bucks come in down wind of the scent, and stand next to it and enjoy it for several minutes before walking back into the woods. I am not always convinced that it is effective but have had friends have occassional success with scent as well so I feel compelled to pay the $6/oz to buy urine each fall. Seems like a rediculous waste of money but if it gives you some confidence, it will help you sit in the stand longer and that can' t hurt.
