Just this morning I sat watching a group of pronghorns across a little valley at what was probably at least 550 yards. Didn't have my laser ranger with me so that's a guess. There was a cross wind strong enough to make it hard to keep a hat on. I thought to myself that if only RR was here he could shoot that herd buck right through the lungs.

I tried to get close enough for a mere mortal to make a shot but alas, I failed and the critters scampered away unharmed. Lucky for them ...Deleted by CalHunter... wasn't there.
