I don't know where these others are coming from but here is what I can tell you..

Use Carbon Fiber arrows.. any brand is fine.
Make sure the bow is tuned and set the way you like.
Use a trigger release.. don't try to use fingers.
Make sure you can shoot and reliably hit the 4 inch center of a 30 to 35 yard target. (Peep sights are almost required)
Make sure the bow is quiet when you draw back.. (no rubs, squeeks or creaking noises).

Other than those things above.. all the fancy stuff is nothing more than candy for those who have to have the latest gizmo whether it helps or not. Waste of money if you ask me.

Don't get caught up in the equipment tech sham... Learning how to hunt is a hundred times more important than making sure you have the latest equipment.

My bow is 10+ years old and everything is obsolete and old school by today's standards (except the arrows).. When I get a shot, I never miss.
