This morning i removed some widow makers out front, and then set the bird baths back into place, and blew the water out of the irrigation sprinklers, whilst the bride went for groceries. Then we went across town, and removed a large broken branch using the chain saw, and some necessary analysis. We returned home, and put the fountain to bed for winter, and set up a small tank for the birds.
Whilst the bride was putting things away, i sat down on the patio, and just gazed at the beautiful world in front of me. Politely, i requested the bride to bring me a beer, and a cigar. We wasted away the rest of a sunny, calm, serene afternoon. The beer was opened a way too early in the day, but it has been such an intense grueling time these past days, it just seemed right.
