My logic is a little different than others. You see, my father was shot in a hunting accident during regular season back in the 70s. He nearly died and it nearly ended my hunting career before it began. I became a bowhunter, however and killed many deer with the bow over the years. Now, I feel like I simply want a time in the field without a lot of lead flying, and without having to put the enormous amount of preparation that bowhunting requires. It is just the right method for me during this time of life. I'm a mid-50s boomer heading toward retirement and I just want time in the field to relax and kill the occasional buck. The CVA Accura V2 is my first inline and has kind of kicked up my interest level in ML hunting. The right gun, the right time, the right season of life.

It is a nice way to spend the fall, when I can't be fly fishing in the smoky mountains.
