they actaully believe texas is the only state with thickets. thos thickets are full of trails,just like everywhere else in the country,setup on a good trail and hunt. no bait.
Our property is all 15 year old clear cut. You can't see 10 yards in most places. This is in PA. It's tough hunting for sure. We're not allowed to bait so we've been hunting it without bait and still manage to shoot a few. Bait would sure make it easier, but not an option. Rattling and grunting gets the bucks to show in clearings during the rut, though. That's the best shot we have. That and trying to be at the right place at the right time.
