Are your knives sharp yet?
Hunting season is just around the corner. I have been staging elk hunting gear in my son's ex-bedroom (still my son, but has moved into an apartment at law school so I have liberated his bedroom). What a bunch of stuff! geez! I gave the several knives I use a nice touch-up on the sharpening sticks. I'm expecting to have to use those things on a big ol' fat elk in not too many weeks!!!
The attached picture is of an old Marble's hunting knife that had belonged to my deceased father. I use it to field dress my elk.
