I have an Investarm in .50 bore, I think they made the Lyman guns. Mine was made in the mid 1980's, I bought it used about two years ago. I love it, it was in great shape, probably had not been shot. The wood is much nicer then the T/C Hawken that I once had. The only "negative" is the low maximum charge that that Investarm recommends--90 grains with a PRB, 80 grains with a conical. It has a 15/16 barrel so I think it would handle more, but I stay with their recommendations. I think you will like the gun, congrats!!
