I also learned how to grunt just using my mouth/throat and I feel " my" call is a better duplication of the true thing than the commercial calls. but I can' t seem to do it when I' m in my stand. It' s like I have to warm up first or I can' t get the sound right. I went to Penn State Deer research place where there are deer to try it on and It was neet the way they would respond to my call some would follow me from one end to the other.
