As usual, a bunch of BS. I have opened carried for years in Colorado with zero complications. The worse thing that I ever had happened to me was, a checker at King Soopers asked me if it was a real gun. A few people looked.

In the mountains, no one will even give you a second look. In town, no one has ever bothered me but I don't look like a thug. I've even had cops ask me what I was carrying.

Not a big deal but it is illegal in Denver county. You have to watch out for annexed sections. In a couple of places you think you are not in Denver but the property is annexed.
