"All factors being equal" it was implied and then later clarified when bench rest guns were brought up.


The take away fom all this was:....if you ordered up a Remington 700 with either a fluted barrel or heavy barrel, the accuracy would be the same for the first 3-4 shots all things being equal like barrel bedding, trigger, crown, and ammo. Don't feel you have to lug a heavier barrel around the woods to get stellar accuracy from your hunting rifle.

As far as I'm concerned, the way you worded it was meant to cover all barrels of all styles. Perhaps if you had been more clear, this wouldn't have happened?
