This forum will not have a future if it keeps its course.
I have been a forum moderator long enough on several other forums to know why a few members on this particular forum are having issues and why threads always get a hostile tone and spiral out of control yet the same exact topics play out constructively and with a happy tone on other forums. If you cant keep a forum inviting and friendly, you will never keep new visitors. New topics will never get to be freely brought up for fear of being bullied. At that point when a forum gets territorial and unfriendly, they are in a death spiral. This pertains to this forum in general and not anyone particular thread.
Constructive suggestions:
You might want to step back and look at a idea or thread content from different angles so you don't insist the logic doesn't work because its not how you interpreting the meaning of the thread. Its your obligation to try to understand the topic and theme the Original Poster started. You don't have to be right all the time and you don't have to agree with the logic presented. Express you opinion and move on. If you don't agree with the topics logic, then just say I don't agree with you and move on to another thread.
