I live in Alberta Canada and we have a Coyote population that is getting less cautious by the day. Our dog has been attacked and the neighbour has lost calves to them. .22 lr does not have the reach, and I don't want to spend a small fortune on a rifle. If there is a hmr or 243, .250 or so cheap in the area I would like to purchase it. I do have to wait until after the 16th Sept for my PAL to take possession though.
