That' s pretty cool. I' ve heard many a deer grunt and I would have to agree, most if not all calls out there come close, but not exact - they are plastic sounding. Good thing is though, all deer have different tones to their calls just like all humans sound different. I' ve always kept this in my head as I' m grunting out there. The grunt calls I use don' t scare the deer at all. I' ve grunted at does and bucks and most of the time they just look my way, then go about their business.
