RE: What kind of tree configuration do you look for?
I don't care what the tree looks like. If I'm scouting ahead of time and I find a spot I want to hunt, I pick which tree I need to be in, or several trees depending on wind direction. Then I choose which stand/pegs/stick/climber combination I need to use to hunt from that tree.
Basically, you hunt a specific location cause it looks good, not just because a specific tree looks good. But, if you are really lucky, the tree will be perfect for ya.
