North22 stated: "Big difference between being a violator/poacher and shooting a deer a few minutes before or after what the rule book says." Sorry North22, but when a person comes on here and says he would violate the law like the previous poster did and now you are saying the same thing I WILL say exactly to you what I said to him! Anyone that does that is a violator/poacher because it's against the law just like it is to shoot a deer in a spotlight! Anywhere you hunt has legal time limits that you should be following and just as MZS stated, I also have a watch and know what times every day I can legally shoot whether it's for a longhbeard in the Spring or a buck in the Fall. ANYONE who comes on this Forum and says they don't follow that rule is a plain out VIOLATOR and they would not be welcome in my camp! There are obviously many that violate what we're talking about because I hear shots all the time during deer season up here well before and well after legal time. If people do that, then just maybe the next thing they choose to do will be spotlighting that nice buck that I'm waiting to make a mistake during legal hours and that sucks! Call it lack of ethics, integrity, or whatever you want, but if you shoot outside the legal established hours you are wrong and anyone saying they would on an open website is not too smart!!! My LE career may be showing here, but gosh darn it, the laws aren't made to choose whether we will or won't follow certain ones because we don't like them or think they're wrong! As long as they are on the books they should be followed, as they are there for a reason whether you like it or not.
