RE: Yo man, don' t be " dissin' " my bow!!
My brother has an early 90' s PSE that has killed many dozens of deer. He puts a notch on his bow after each kill, and that PSE has so many notches in it, I think the riser may break in half from it. Two years ago, he bought a Mathews SQ2 and is the first to admit that although he likes the new bow, it is no better than his old one. Faster, but not better.
I have a 1980 Martin Lynx that I been shooting fingers with a bit this year. I haven' t used it for about 6 years, but I' m thinking of going out and getting my next deer with it. I' m positive it will be no problem.
Maybe you should tell this guy that hunting is the art of getting close and your bow is more than adequate when matched with your hunting skills, however you don' t blame him for wanting something better.
