I have used the Vortex on two deer, they are devastating on a broadside shot. Little to no trailing was needed. If you are willing to be picky about the shots you take try these broadheads. If not try some of the old traditional 2 and 4 blade fixed, I am talking about the Zwickey broadheads or those styled like them.
