A challenge is fine for targets and silhouettes. Not for big game. Knowing how much your bullet drops is one small part of making a quick kill at ranges past 400 yards. I have seen to many complete misses at long range not to mention poor non leathle hits. That however is a matter of conscience It would have to be life or death which does not make it for me while hunting. Most rifles are not up to the task let alone most shooters.
