One big advantage for the Beretta is the barrel selector/safety design. The Brownings eventually loosen up enough that they get bumped into the in-between state, and then when you go to take the safety off it won't budge - and when grouse hunting u seldom have time to look down and figure out what's wrong.
Beretta's have a toggle on top of the safety for barrel selection that works much better. I've had my 20 gauge Silver Pigeon for 10 years and it's been the nicest 6 lbs I've ever carried in the grouse woods!
