I have payed for hunts. Yes, I did take a pretty nice 150 animal in Canada four years ago. Freezing temps and hunting my butt off all week, yeah, I feel I earned that deer despite paying for it. I enjoyed every minute of that hunt, just as much as I do here in PA. Its mounted along side four PA bucks I have taken. I show all of them off equally. No, I didn' t make a marginal shot on that Canadian buck and I took him fairly. There are too many slobs out there who don' t though. Hunting over bait, not tagging what you shoot, and just overall being an A-hole about the sport is where our problem ultimatly lies. I wouldn' t want to associate with a guy like that, in fact, peaple like that I detest.

But as far as going on paid hunting trips, I love to. A chance to hunt different country, see breath-taking scenery and relax. Why not?

In fact, I can' t wait to go to Wyoming next fall on a Mule Deer hunt with the gun. Awesome place to be.
