Default RE: Savage 10 MLSS-II

ORIGINAL: Double Droptine

Has anyone out there used the Savage 10 MLSS-II ? How would you compare it to the Omega or the Knight Extreme? Is it watertight?

I would be interested in hearing all the pros and cons on this gun. I am only going to buy one muzzleloader in my lifetime and want it to be the best choice.

Thanks!!

The Savage cannot be directly compared to anything else-- as it was designed for economical use of efficient, non-corrosive smokeless powder from the start.

It is a sealed action, more sealed than the Knight for example. Its greatest strength is the dramatically lower cost per shot than conventional pellet burners-- and equally as dramatic high performance with low recoil.

The negative is political-- if smokeless is not legal to hunt with where you wish to hunt, it loses its greatest strength.
